Spruce & Co began when we forged a strong friendship performing volunteer design work and event planning. We realized our very distinct personalities and talents were the perfect blend to create a strong business filled with passion and creativity. We are all very different, but these differences are the magic that combine to make our events fun, memorable, and oh so beautiful.

From weddings to lavish social gatherings to intimate parties, leave the planning, details, and stress to us so you can enjoy being at your own party. We are experienced in creating an overall vision for your event, project management, food styling, custom floral design, and working with third party vendors.

COURTNEY SCOTT

Introduced at an early age to sewing, textiles and gardening by both grandmothers, Courtney has a long heritage of creativity. What started as a hobby developed into a career path, as she first pursued formal artistic training, then became a professional theatrical Costume Designer, and even branched into her own line of home soft goods called Floradora, Inc. Courtney brings a wide variety of design skills and experience to Spruce & Co. and loves the thrill of transforming a space for the season or creating an atmosphere for an event. Her rich background in the arts and her passion for design drive her inspiration for each client. She loves to host her own friends for al fresco meals under the big oak tree and knows that every successful event is filled with laughter and joy.

JENNIFER FARRES

Jennifer is a physician assistant by trade and has been practicing for over 15 years. This has taught her to manage very complex situations efficiently and with precision. However, she longed to use the other side of her brain and sought a creative outlet. This was found through her love of plants and flowers that was handed down to her from her grandparents. This passion, combined with a knack for hospitality, led her to hosting events personally and eventually designing them for others. Jennifer loves creating inviting spaces where all can feel welcomed in and wowed at the same time. Her eye for detail, exquisite taste, and ability to transform a space make her an excellent addition to the design team of Spruce & Co.

WANDA LINK

Wanda grew up surrounded by family and friends who fostered a love for gardening, beautiful things, DIY projects, entertaining and good food. This background has fostered many creative experiences - from design and construction of custom bedding and window treatments to event and floral design. Uniquely gifted, Wanda is able to walk into a space and envision an event. But she knows a successful event is about the guests and loves making people feel welcome and at ease. Her experiences as a nurse and teacher contribute to her aptitude for organization and attention to all the details necessary for event planning. Wanda’s varied background has led her to a perfect spot as a designer with Spruce & Co. When not designing, she enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband, children and grandsons.
